Advisory Council

Board of Directors

HICAP Registered Medicare Counselor
Become a registered medicare counselor and help older adults with understanding and accessing their Medicare benefits.
Long Term Care Ombudsman
Advocate for dignity, quality of life, and quality of care for all residents in long-term care facilities by becoming a state certified Ombudsman. Regularly visit your assigned facility, get to know the residents and help them resolve their concerns.
SAIL (Staying Active and Independent for Life)
Learn to lead weekly evidence based exercise classes under the supervision of a physical therapist.
Volunteer Driver Program
Provide rides to people 50 years or older who can’t drive anymore. Rides are provided to medical appointments, pharmacies, and grocery stores. Volunteers set their own schedule and sign up for rides online.
North Coast Homeshare Program
Provides an in depth matching process to help find older adults a mutually beneficial living arrangement. Volunteers set their own schedule and will assist with intake of applications and interviews with interested parties.
Senior Planet Technology Trainer
Become a Senior Planet Technology Trainer to deliver innovative classes to help older people learn to use technology to change their lives, get online and stay engaged and active in our community.
