What is Bold Day of Giving?
Bold Day of Giving is a charitable event hosted by ACCESS Humboldt to help local nonprofits raise funds on May 29th.
Interested donors can begin donating to our agency as early as May 22nd, and their donations will count toward the overall fundraiser. However, the best part of giving on May 29th is that a generous donation could be matched by corporate sponsors affiliated with ACCESS Humboldt.
What is Our Donation Goal?
On May 29th, we are aiming to raise $5,000 in donor contributions.
Our agency has highlighted the need for donations to support our aging-in-place programs. During this campaign, the greatest needs for our organization are for the following programs:
- Volunteer Driver Program
- Fall Prevention Program
- Emergency Preparedness Activities
Although we are seeking donations for these programs, we prefer unrestricted donations, which offer greater flexibility.
How You Can Donate & Support the Cause
Share A1AA’s Mighty cause page on social media and raise awareness about donating on Bold Day of Giving.
- Spread awareness! Donate to our agency, and tag 3 friends on Facebook or Instagram to challenge them to donate as well.
- Check out some of our Bold Dog Buddies and help donate to some other wonderful organizations that give back to the community every day!
Donating Your Time & Expertise
For this event, we are also looking to add more volunteers interesting in making change for seniors in the Humboldt and Del Norte communties. Available volunteer positions include:
- Board of Directors, Humboldt and Del Norte
- Advisory Council, Del Norte
- Volunteer Drivers
- SAIL Instructors
- Senior Planet, Technology Assistance
