Financial Operations
The Area 1 Agency on Aging is a 501(c)(3) organization responsible for the stewardship of public and private funds. The Agency receives federal, state, county and city dollars to fund its work. Grants and contributions are received from foundations, private donors and fundraising efforts. The Agency also benefits from rental income from its co-ownership of the building (434 7th Street, Eureka) housing its programs, services and offices.
